Churchill Home Insurance: £295m worth of goods stolen from gardens
Up to £295 million worth of goods have been stolen from Britons' gardens, Churchill Home Insurance has claimed today.
The company reports that around 75 per cent of British people take pride in their garden and that they can contain possessions worth an average of £738.
Such items as gardening tools, plants, garden decorations, furniture and barbecues step up the value of the contents of many gardens and are among the objects stolen by criminals.
